D-MAX Power Steering Rack for S14 S15
In recent years, the development of extended front lower control arms, large knuckles, and high-grip tires has increased the burden on the power steering rack, which can no longer withstand the pressure, and there are many cases where the seals are damaged. In addition, genuine products are expensive, seal damage occurs frequently, and rebuilt products are in short supply, so D-MAX developed the power steering rack based on the Nissan Silvia S14. D-MAX are currently testing the compatibility of the genuine oil seals and other details. The durability of the steering rack varies greatly depending on the power steering oil, so D-MAX recommend using SUNOCO oil, which has a proven track record in D1GP racing vehicles.

*Vehicles with HICAS are not suitable.
* (R) PS13 can be installed, but the angle of the oil line and the mounting bush are different.
*D-MAX recommend SUNOCO oil, which has been supported for many years.
Regarding installation, the center of the steering wheel may be slightly misaligned, so please be sure to adjust the steering rack to the proper position and check that there is no misalignment before installing.
*When installing an adapter, if it is a genuine rack, if you install a spacer ring to increase the steering angle, it will be 7mm on the driver’s side and 14mm on the passenger’s side. In the case of the D-MAX rack, it will be 9mm on the driver’s side and 9mm on the passenger’s side.
